Biography
Jacques Hirsch is a fund manager and a member of Carmignac's Strategic Investment Committee.
He joined Carmignac in 2023 as co-manager of Carmignac Portfolio Patrimoine Europe. Later that year, he joined the Carmignac Patrimoine management team, where he jointly oversees the fund's macro overlay, portfolio construction and risk management.
Prior to joining Carmignac, Jacques spent 12 years at Ruffer as co-manager of a multi-asset fund. With a background in firms such as Goldman Sachs and GLG Partners, Jacques has gained extensive experience in top-down analysis, portfolio construction, and risk management.
Jacques graduated from École Centrale Paris and holds a Master's degree in Mathematics from the University of Oxford.
