Carmignac, an independent asset management firm, pursues its mission of sharing art with the wider public through a monumental installation, sourced from its private collection.
Starting 24 October, for a period of three months, Roy Lichtenstein’s iconic work Vicky, I—I thought I heard your voice! will be displayed on a renovated façade on Rue de Sèvres, facing César’s Centaure, at the Carrefour de la Croix-Rouge intersection.
A unique face-to-face between two icons of modern art.
The initiative, developed in collaboration with the agency l’Art dans la Ville, follows installations earlier this year in Nice and on Rue de Rivoli (Paris) and is a continuation of Carmignac’s long-standing commitment to artistic creation and dissemination.
Edouard Carmignac comments:
“As an investor, I’ve always drawn inspiration from the world of art. The free-thinking and unconventional spirit embodied by artists like Lichtenstein mirrors the essence of true active investing, which requires the courage to see things differently and act independently. I’m delighted to continue sharing powerful works with the public and hope this new installation provides passers-by a moment of imagination and reflection.”
