The Professional investors profile is currently selected.
The objective of the selection process is to identify funds that have consistently outperformed over the long term while withstanding significant market downturns in recent years. Funds are selected based on their three-year Sortino ratio. This ratio is comparable to the Sharpe ratio but uses downside risk (DSR) as the denominator instead of overall volatility. DSR corresponds to volatility, but only when the market is bearish. In other words, it considers that volatility (the amplitude of variations in a security's value around its average) is only a problem when the market is falling. Furthermore, in order to highlight funds that are resilient in the event of a crash, only funds whose maximum loss over the three-year period is less than the average maximum loss for their category are taken into account. Performance figures are as at 30 June 2025.
The winners are selected based on comprehensive results from surveys (voting by the professional community across Europe), the number of page views garnered by her dedicated interview, and the social media buzz generated. The primary goal is to honour the professional whose interview had the most significant influence across the extensive RankiaPro Europe network.
Label Excellence: to compile this ranking, Mieux Vivre Votre Argent drew on a database of nearly 30,000 widely distributed funds marketed in France. Only funds with at least five years of history were considered, reducing the database to nearly 2,000 funds. To appear in the ranking, a fund must fall into a category that includes at least 20 funds in order to be awarded a rating. This excludes overly exotic funds that have few comparables. Once this selection has been made, to obtain the Excellence label, a fund must meet all of the following criteria:
Methodology: Lipper Ratings for Consistent Return reflect funds’ historical risk adjusted returns, relative to peers. The currency for the calculation corresponds to the currency of the country for which the awards are calculated and relies on monthly data. Classification averages are calculated with all eligible share classes for each eligible classification. The calculation periods extend over 36, 60 and 120 months. The highest Lipper Leader for Consistent Return (Effective Return) value within each eligible classification determines the fund classification winner over three, five or 10 years. For a detailed explanation, please review the Lipper Leader Methodology Document.
