Édouard CARMIGNAC

Edouard Carmignac is  Chairman and Chief Investment Officer of Carmignac, company he founded in 1989. He has launched and managed for nearly 30 years two flagship strategies of the house, Carmignac Patrimoine and Carmignac Investissement and now focuses on the long term vision within the Strategic Investment Committee. After being Assistant Director at Banque de la Société Financière Européenne in charge of project financing for mining and energy, he managed the stockbrokerage house Hamant-Carmignac, before leaving to create Carmignac. Edouard graduated in economics from the University of Paris and obtained an MBA at Columbia University.
